Pads
OPFLEX® material is a crosslinked polyolefin foam that absorbs non-polar substances (like oil) and repels water. OPFLEX® is 50-70% lighter in weight than most sorbents and contains an additive that speeds its biodegradation. Once it is properly wrung out or centrifuged, OPFLEX® can be re-used multiple times, making it a Low Carbon Impact (LCI) product.
OPFLEX® PADS measure 16×18 inches and draw the oil in like a magnet. Weighing just over 1 ounce, the pads are easy to transport and deploy.
Pads come in 1/4″ thickness and 1/8″ thickness.
